material used for traktaka[edit]

according to traditional texts, trataka should be done by focusing the gaze on a burning cotton wick partly submerged in cow's ghee. the ghee acts as the fuel for the wick. the sadhaka (practitioner) should sit in a comfortable seated asana (pose) with the wick burning at an arms length from his body and at eye level.---- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.103.15.19 (talk) 23:22, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
