All of this is from A pocket guide to Palms by Martin Gibbons. I have a few books on palms and cycads, and I personally collect them as well. I'm still new to wikipedia and am trying to learn how to get the hang of things, as I'm not sure how to cite books (or if I even can). Thecoldmidwest (talk) 02:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page anytime. As long as you're writing in your own words and not infringing on copyright, I think you'll be fine. Book citations can be done a couple different ways. I don't prefer this, but you can use {{citebook}}. Otherwise, you can use the "ref" tags and use your own preferred reference format (help on these tags can be found at Help:Ref. Hope that helps! --Rkitko (talk) 23:53, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
