The 1st female results column should be removed. This race does not appear to have gender-based standings: http://transambikerace.com/results/

Furthermore, Lael Wilcox won the race overall in 2016 and it would be ludicrous to insert Steffen in the former "1st male" column and bump Lael to the "1st female" column.

we should have an extra column for women as well as recumbant-riders. --Helium4 (talk) 10:47, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The race indeed has separate categories for women and for pairs. It does not make a distinction for recumbent riders.Jacona (talk) 18:33, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Moonlight?

[edit]

Tend the organizers to held the race during full moon? - I mean: including the days around full moon for the quickest rides, that need +/- 14 days.

Saves batteries, makes riding safer, at least at some days around full moon. --Helium4 (talk) 10:50, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Distance

[edit]

Extra column for the distance in mi + km.

2018: 4164 or 4165 mi --Helium4 (talk) 11:02, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Race Categories: Velomobile Race & Solo Race

[edit]

The 2018 results posted on the official Trans Am Bike Race do not match the Wikipedia article. The velomobiles were considered a different category (2018 Velomobile Race) and are listed as such in the race results [1]. The solo race results are posted for the previous years in the Wikipedia article and not mixed in categories. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Roubaix2018 (talkcontribs) 02:45, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
