Mass in B minor?[edit]

Liszt used a cantata movement from BWV 12, Bach used the same for his Mass in B minor. The mentioning of the Mass seems redundant here. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:24, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Chopin: Sonata No. 3, Final movement[edit]

I've just come across a claimed arrangement (or "variant") by Liszt of the 4th movement of Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, here. I can find no record of this anywhere else, and I have my doubts as to its authenticity. Can anyone assist here, please? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 22:55, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Table need rethinking.[edit]

The table for Wagner is absurd with its enormous empty space due to the large amounts of text forcing very long vertical stretches in the "notes" column.--23.119.205.88 (talk) 05:25, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Implications of name change[edit]

Now that it's been retitled Transcriptions by Franz Liszt, is there any reason to continue to exclude:

  • (a) Liszt's reworkings of his own original pieces, or
  • (b) his treatments of folk or anonymous music? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 07:49, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
