Construction Date

[edit]

"Construction begins after Labor Day." Of which year? Fustigate314159 (talk) 21:09, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2009. The announcement was made AFTER Labor Day 2008, and the attraction will have to be built ground-up at the Singapore park for the 2010 opening date, and the BD and SES attractions in Hollywood will need to be disposed of for construction to begin for the 2011 opening date. If construction for the ride didn't begin until after Labor Day 2010, it would not be finished in time.--Snowman Guy (talk) 20:44, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Separate Articles

[edit]

If there are noticeable differences in the ride experience between the two locations separate article into Singapore and Hollywood articles rather than two headings. Movieworld (talk) 05:18, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Will review tonight alongside the Justice League one. Miyagawa (talk) 13:57, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lead: The lead doesn't really summarise the article at present and needs to be expanded.

References: What makes Dejiki Nicholas a reliable source? Same goes for Westcoaster and tformers.com.

Duplicate link has three hits. Miyagawa (talk) 21:12, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Again, thanks for reviewing this article and the Justice League one. In this edit, I made a few changes to the article, including:
  • removed duplicate links
  • removed information cited to TFormers as I couldn't reliably find the information anywhere else
  • started to remove Dejiki Nicholas sources
I will continue with the other sourcing issues at a later time. Themeparkgc  Talk  00:35, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I resolved the remaining issues in these edits. Themeparkgc  Talk  02:19, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The lead could still do with a little expanding. At the moment, history is pretty much covered, but what needs to be added is a sentence or two for each of the other sections. Also, don't be afraid to split the lead into two paragraphs if required, as the size of the article would certainly warrant it. Miyagawa (talk) 10:10, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Woops. I actually forgot that bit. I will look into that later today or tomorrow. Themeparkgc  Talk  22:13, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have expanded the lead. Is this sufficient? Themeparkgc  Talk  01:14, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think it hits the significant points now. Great! I think this article is now good to go for GA. Miyagawa (talk) 09:12, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speed (mph)

[edit]

Does anybody knows how fast the vehicles during the ride are going? I read that the 'simulated speed' is 60 mph, but I would like to add the 'real life' speed. --Mw007 (talk) 19:04, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
