Transito is very important as it owns most of the Publicly operated Regional trains in Sweden. Hence the company is heavilly involved in Swedish Passenger rail traffic and came into being as SJ Swedish state railways was broken up and deregulated. Earlier SJ had provided trains for regional and local traffic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkwand~commonswiki (talkcontribs) 14:41, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I added Transitio AB because it's the owner of almost all newer local and regional trains run by local government regions in Sweden, i noticed it was missing when i read about the Coradia Nordic trains on the english page and links to who owned the trains didn't exist.

Here's the Swedish wikipedia page for Transitio AB https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transitio

Transito AB is often refereed to in Swedish media when discussing railroad services run by the regions because they most often get instructed to buy trains that are then leased out. They also try to standardise the types which is a reason Regina and Lirex trains are so common in Sweden.

Leasing of buses

[edit]

This article suggests that bus leasing is uncommon/non-existent but in actual fact it does happen. 92.184.121.176 (talk) 13:27, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
