Mobile phone

[edit]

Is 手机 an attested translation? The only term I've heard for a cellphone is 大哥大 (dàgēdà), which isn't a translation of anything, but rather a Chinese neologism. siafu (talk) 16:44, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your kidding right? 手机 is a hundred times more commonly used than 大哥大 which refers me to the old "brick"-style mobile phones. Tooironic (talk) 03:04, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
