Ferries to Ireland and Isle of Man from Liverpool

The distance from Doncaster to Liverpool is around 100 miles, typical journey times by online journey planners such as the one at http://www.theaa.com and standalone packages such as Autoroute indicate a journey time of around 1 hour 45 minutes, routing via Woodhead rather than the M62 is around 90 miles and 2 hours driving (with journey speed limits per road type set at the maximum legal limits for cars, no additional time being allowed for congestion)

The passenger journey time by rail is upwards of 2.5 hours (for instance online at http://www.thetrainline.com, the freight transit time is considerably more.

Departing Doncaster at around 10am weekday mornings:

Depart 09:56 Arrive 12:29 Changes 1 Duration 2:33

Doncaster does have good transport connections but to cite Liverpool as one of them is extremely misleading.

Its not a duplicate at all. The main Doncaster page has minor transport information scattered everywhere, this is a seperate page ONLY for information on Transport, there for far much easier to read as its all together.
