This was its 2nd name[edit]

It started off as Transportable Applications Executive, and it ran on IBM mainframes which GSFC had in the late 70s and early 80s. They should have read the Kernighan and Plauger's Software Tools book. 143.232.210.150 (talk) 18:28, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
