Isn't a 'transverse flute' actually just a 'flute'? This has probably come about as a direct translation of another language (German for example calls this a 'Querflöte'. Its a very common mistake to translate it incorrectly ('Blckflöte' is a 'recorder' so there's no chance of getting them mixed up in English)). I propose merging the article with Flute.
