Although I added the information for this article, I think it would do better being merged with a larger article. This is tricky however, as while I think it belongs in an embryogenesis article there are several different ones it could belong to - mammalian, human or general embryogenesis? -- Serephine / talk - 09:09, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose merger. There is plenty of opportunity for expansion. --Arcadian 10:20, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What about merging into gastrulation? Conceptually these are different - one is a structure (and corresponds to a term in TA), the other a process. But the gastrulation page already indicates that "gastrula" is a synonym for trilaminar disk (yet gastrula links to the gastrulation article, rather than this one). sides and 2 other locations only have 2 layers

[edit]

I know the sides only have 2 layers, but what are the other 2 locations that only have 2 layers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tkjazzer (talkcontribs) 22:05, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would guess future site of mouth and anus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tkjazzer (talkcontribs) 22:18, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
