Tripp Wylde Rocks!

Reworded definition[edit]

I've reworded the tripp as nickname definition a bit:

  • "And therefore carries...." cut "therefore". Lots of people don't carry it-- it's a peculiarly US habit.
  • Don't think it has to be consecutive. Surely the counter doesn't "reset" . It certainly doesn't when it comes to kings etc, although they're unlikely to be nicknamed Tripp. (The Prince of Wales has indicated that on his ascendancy he would like to be styled George VII, so we are unlikely to find out.)
  • Changed "a person" to "a man or boy" and "immediate family" to "male familial line" since it doesn't apply to women does it? I've never heard of it used for a woman (in the US sense; I don't mean for e.g. queens etc. though I can't think of a Queen X the Third right now).

If this is unsatisfactory (I've done the same at "Trip") I think the article must needs have its own article, since obviously it cannot be conveniently put in a one-sentence definition suitable for a dab page.
