Cary's nationality

[edit]

Surely a "British man living in Australia" is the more accurate description of Cary's nationality?

He still had a plummy Home Counties English accent when I saw him last year, whatever the case.--feline1 11:49, 14 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Citizenship question

[edit]

He was awarded a substantive Medal of the Order of Australia, and must have been an Australian citizen to be eligible. Any ideas about when he took out Aussie citizenship? -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 02:17, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to here he had dual British-Australian citizenship as of 2004.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 05:38, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Jimi Hendrix

[edit]

I've a recollection of reading somewhere that Cary was responsible for modifications to Jimi Hendrix's equipment in the the late 1960s. Can anybody confirm this? BTLizard 12:47, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Credit in Dr Who for Marco Polo

[edit]

According to Outpost Gallefry, Tristram Cary is not credited with the music for Marco Polo. This credit needs authentication. I've added the other Dr Who episodes that Tristram did the music for, including the bog awful Ballad for Gunfighters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 221.121.73.133 (talk) 02:35, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, credit is in script [1] and visible in recovered telesnaps IIRC. MartinSFSA (talk) 14:14, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
