References[edit]

I took out the "does not cite any references or sources" because the source for this is in the external links. THis is about the Harry Potter similarities —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.101.104.183 (talk) 17:28, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added Charles Band Info[edit]

I added the information about Charles Band and the controversey as to who created Harry Potter. The controversey in the main importance of this movie.

Then you would do well to expand your research. Credited screenwriter Ed Naha named the character in his first draft of the Troll script; in the past Beuchler has acknowledged this. At any rate, if you dig up Ed Naha's OP novels [preceding Troll] The Paradise Plot and The Suicide Plague, you will find Harry Potter is the lead character in each of them. Quoting an Amazon review of the former: "Meet Harry Potter, ace newsman, as he uncovers the lurid truth behind Island One the black secrets of it's past, mounting hysteria in the face of ritualistic murder, a desperate power game for survival- and the Children of Light, deadly mutants with telepathic tentacles thant probe human minds and turn the hope of the future into an orgy of terror. This was the first of two books about Harry Potter, by Ed Naha. The second, The Suicide Plague, was perhaps the better of the two. For years I have combed the Science fiction section waiting for the third book without success. I must correct myself; the character in Ed's novels was Harry Porter. He shifted a letter for the screenplay character. Bustter (talk) 09:29, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Home Video Releases[edit]

There's no info in the article about VHS, DVD, or any other format Home Video release dates and the like. I personally don't know this information. Could someone who does add it? 75.129.166.147 05:14, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Relation between "Troll" and "Troll 2"[edit]

It seems a little contradictory to me that the intro text says there's no connection between the story of "Troll" and "Troll 2" but in the column on the right hand side "Troll 2" is mentioned as the follower of "Troll".Kommitanz (talk) 07:26, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Remake[edit]

This line in the article " In 2008, John Buechler's partner in the Troll remake, Peter Davy," No where else does it mention a remake. Did it get made, still getting made, fall through. Whatever happened there should be a reference here somewhere. 203.35.82.136 (talk) 20:01, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Character list[edit]

I wrote an article that is a list of characters from Troll 2. I am considering writing a separate list for this movie and possibly collaborating them. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Trolls World (2020)[edit]

Time to add this to the line of sequels. Kinda-continuation of Troll 2. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:AB88:3704:8700:24C6:BAAB:56B0:7F3B (talk) 20:19, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
