Hi, I've signed up for this review. I'll have comments up in a few days. Sasata (talk) 21:49, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comments:

  • Might it be possible to include a map, perhaps showing where the Princess Martha Coast is?
  • How about making the lead image a bit bigger?
  • link Jutulsessen
  • "The facilities consist of modules and consists of a new section" reword to remove repetitive "consists of" (which is also in the next sentence as well)
  • "The Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU) maintains air and atmospheric measurement equipment at Troll, allowing the institute to collect such data from both polar regions." Is the other polar region the Arctic? How does equipment maintained at Troll allow them to collect data at the antipodes?
  • "NILU also created annual samples of air tests to create trend analysis." Sounds awkward… how about "NILU also creates air samples annually to generate data for trend analysis."
  • link trend analysis
  • "Ground measurements are made of ozone and mercury" I doubt they are made of that
  • what is Svalsat?
  • "During the 1980s, it became increasingly important for Norwegian authorities to have a permanent base in Queen Maud Land" authorities of what?
  • what is Norway station?
  • "Building an airfield at Troll allows quicker transport to the research stations in western Queen Maud Land" I don't think the act of building it allowed quicker transport, rather, having an airport there did.
  • "In 2003, it was decided by that Norway was to extend…" ?
  • "The authorities stated that the investment was motivated…" what authorities would those be?
  • "At the same time, as part of the International Polar Year, a Norwegian – United States expedition from Troll to the Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station and back." incomplete sentence
I've fixed all the points above, except for the map, which I will have to look into. Arsenikk (talk) 13:36, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just one more thing: why is it called Troll? (one answer here.) Sasata (talk) 16:53, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Answered that, and added an infobox with a map. Thank you for taking the time to review the article. Arsenikk (talk) 12:06, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome, additions look great. Article meets all GA criteria, passing now. Sasata (talk) 15:13, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
