If this for some reason or another ends up having to be merged for some unclassifiable reason

If this article ends up having to be merged for some reason, then I would like to be the one to re-merge as to maintain my contributions, although this is only how I would hope for it to play out. I am neither saying that I want a merge, nor that I have a preference here (apart from me remerging if necessary), but I just thought I would mention it, so there.
