Reviewer: Yellow Evan (talk · contribs) 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC) Per your IRC request yesterday, I will be reviewing this article.
- "The fourth tropical cyclone and named storm of the annual hurricane season, " I'd change "annual" to "2012 Atlantic" as it sounds weird the way it is IMO. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "d upwelling prevented further" say upwelling of cold water to avoid confusion. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "Overall, Debby at least $210 million in losses and 10 deaths, 8 in Florida and 1 each in Alabama and South Carolina." infobox begs to differ. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed, both were wrong, actually--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) migrated northward into the southern Gulf of Mexico in mid-June. " I'd reword this to "During mid-June, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) made its annual migration northward into the southern Gulf of Mexico" or sometihng like that as something does not feel right in this sentence, idk why tbh. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "However, the storm began to weaken due to increasing wind shear, drier air, and upwelling, caused by Debby's slow movement.[1]" Per above, say the upwelling was of cold water and why (because it was stationary. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "onsolidated into one well-defined low-level circulation by early on June 25.[8] D" If I you were you I'd link atmospheric circulation somewhere. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, this would be the right place for it. Instead, I just linked it in the first paragraph of the MH.--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Any other Preps out there? YE Pacific Hurricane
- "nearly 200 single–family residences" why the dash. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "on June 24.[15] resulting in widespread flash flooding.[13]" comma after 24, not period. YE Pacific Hurricane
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Make sure all units are consistently abbreviated. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Better?--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "At Cedar Key, tides reached 6.78 feet (2.07 m) mean lower low water on June 25." "mean lower low water" should be removed IMO as it makes no sense whatsoever. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- This is the definition of MLLW.--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "Throughout Polk County, 115 homes were damaged, mainly as a result of tornadoes, and losses were estimated at $5 million.[24] A tornado in Hardee County felled several trees and damaged a tractor and barn." add an a before "barn". YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- "Following the storm, then-President of the United States Barack Obama" he is still the president so "then" is not needed IMO here. In 2016, we can change it back, don't worry. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:20, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- I wish it was Mitt Romney :P --12george1 (talk) 16:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- I don't. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:47, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
Well-written:

- Note - Why was this passed with the Preparations section in such poor shape? There was much more preparation than what's said in the article. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 16:52, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- It's not in poor shape, given the author's on-wiki actions, he did not indicate that there would be more preps. I'm gonna temporarily revert the passing. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:57, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, I see it's been expanded. I am re-passing this thing. YE Pacific Hurricane 17:19, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

- ^ Compliance with other aspects of the Manual of Style, or the Manual of Style mainpage, is not required for good articles.
- ^ Either parenthetical references or footnotes can be used for in-line citations, but not both in the same article.
- ^ This requirement is significantly weaker than the "comprehensiveness" required of featured articles; it allows shorter articles, articles that do not cover every major fact or detail, and overviews of large topics.
- ^ Vandalism reversions, proposals to split or merge content, good faith improvements to the page (such as copy editing), and changes based on reviewers' suggestions do not apply. Nominations for articles that are unstable because of constructive editing should be placed on hold.
- ^ Other media, such as video and sound clips, are also covered by this criterion.
- ^ The presence of images is not, in itself, a requirement. However, if images (or other media) with acceptable copyright status are appropriate and readily available, then some such images should be provided.
