Then why does this article say "...also called extra point(s)"? And the first sentence of the "extra point" article says the "...convert, conversion, try, extra point, point after try, or PAT...". It is like that because many people do not understand the terminology (let alone the rest of the regulations) of football, or any sport for that matter. People call backs tight ends, people call backward passes laterals, people call fouls penalties, people call officials referees....some people do not understand what a try is therefore other names of what the average fan or TV announcer calls it are given.--Smokedadro (talk) 22:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
