Accident and emergency

[edit]

I've asked this before at User talk:203.145.95.1 and in many edit summaries but received no replies. Why do IP editors keep removing references to the "Accident and emergency department" – not just here, but many other Hong Kong hospital articles? Citobun (talk) 03:18, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To these users: please provide a citation and a rationale here for changing "accident and emergency" (the official and common Hong Kong terminology) to "Level 1 Trauma Center", which appears to be some kind of American designation. Citobun (talk) 13:36, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ditto for changing "trauma centre", a generic term, to "Major Trauma Centre", which appears to be some kind of UK designation. Again, please explain here. Citobun (talk) 16:29, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It needs to be cited to a reliable source. The citation would likely provide some indication as to the correct terminology for the Hong Kong context. Thanks, Citobun (talk) 03:47, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
