"Tupua Tamasese Lealofi III - 29 December 1929 Tama Aiga. One of the leaders of the Mau Movement.Most Samoans still remember that BLACK SATURDAY, December 28, 1929, when Tupua Tamasese III was assassinated by New Zealand Police while leading a peaceful protest."

^this is highly biased, the reference states that far from being ' peaceful', many samoans in addition to a nz police officer were killed.
