Article Clean-up

[edit]

This article isn't bad at all, but I'd be really interested in cleaning-up/expanding it...any objections? Kylehudson00 08:14, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Set List

[edit]

This information is being widely reported and I've checked Nick Davis' post on the official website (i'm a member) and it's accurate. I sent him a personal message asking him to check this page and he corrected one word and said he'd prefer not to be quoted as the source but I then told him to google 'Nick Davis Genesis set list' and he would see the information is already out on the internet. If someone has a verifiable link to an official source that SPECIFICALLY corroborates that setlist (the IT fan site is not an official source, it is merely a good fan site that is propogating the same setlist fans have guessed at on the official forum via Nick's hints), I can make further edits to that effect, but as it stands now, however accurate that setlist may be, without an official (and confirmed) source verifying it, it is pure speculation. I've edited the entry to better reflect the speculatory nature of the setlist.Mpoloukhine 14:28, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Anonymous users are editing the "setlist" with no apparent supporting back-up beyond their personal preferences. I've turned the list into the list of clues from Nick Davis, hopefully this will quell the growing tide of unsubstantiated entries.Mpoloukhine 01:48, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And it's all gone now as pre-tour speculations are irrelevant now that the setlist has been confirmed. 70.183.63.108 21:17, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed a few sentences of complete speculation regarding the North American setlist. I hope nobody minds. I substituted some slightly more accurate (and verifiable, coming from the horses mouth) information. 144.140.22.4 09:28, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:GenesisTIOATourLogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:GenesisTIOATourLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

On / Proposed move

[edit]

As irksome as it might be, Genesis refer to the song and concert as "Turn It On Again" rather than "Turn It on Again". Should not the title of the page reflect that? MrMarmite (talk) 13:55, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Collins on Gabriel's involvement

[edit]

The quote is incorrect and muddles the meaning. I had to look up the source to understand what it meant. The correct quote is "I think he’s just a little overcautious sometimes about going to back to doing something that, basically, fundamentally, is just fun.". I don't see how you can rewrite the text but still present it as a quotation. At least put the word 'just' back in there. 24.4.132.165 (talk) 14:27, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
