Lumpia

[edit]

Isn't this called LUMPIA?? Coojah (talk) 09:29, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think lumpia is sweet, but instead made with pork. Badagnani (talk) 17:12, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I know that I am extremely late, but it is called "Turon" or "Toron". Lumpia is made with the same wrapper, but has a more meaty, savory filling. Toron is usually dipped in melted brown sugar and has bananas or plantains as its filling. Hope this helps, although no one will probably see this anyways. 120.29.78.125 (talk) 07:17, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Banana

[edit]

Is banana ever used instead of plantain? I think they are made this way sometimes by Filipinos in the United States. Badagnani (talk) 17:12, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't this food called "Toron"? I'm from the Philippines, and this is how we usually spell it.
