An association to the nordic Kvasir possibly through it's IE connections? 65.102.7.165 (talk) 00:55, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Surprisingly he is also inferred to as Indra's father[1]." Does this sentence mean "...inferred to be Indra's father," or "...referred to as Indra's father"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tenofour (talkcontribs) 03:59, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PURUSHA = DESTROYER in Serbian language

[edit]

Prof Dr Branislava Bozinovic who spent 40 years in India, proved that Serbian/Russian is Sanskrit because 80% of all words are identical (even bad words)! Now, PURUSHA = DESTROYED at this very root... I have a feeling that all has been set upside down! There are no euro-indian languages, but there is Serbian that is almost identical to Russian : Serbian calndar is one of the oldeset. We live in the Serbian Year 7528 (=2019) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.155.46.15 (talk) 08:56, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Tvashtr also is a constellation

[edit]

Like almost all vedic gods (for example Vishnu is Orion, Agni is Aries, Surya is Taurus, Indra is Hercules, Trita is Triangulum, Varuna is Aquarius, Mitra is Delphinus and so on) Tvashtr beneath the person is one of the 48 ancient known constellations, namely Auriga. 2003:F5:F746:F400:58FF:87C1:D9A3:FC2 (talk) 16:52, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
