Another nice tropical cyclone article. You guys have to be running out by now :P Anyway, it is good, but I did find a couple things that needs tweaking:

"The storm gradually intensified into a typhoon on October 12 before nearly stalling close Iwo Jima." I don't get what you mean in the second half of the sentence.

"On October 14, the storm began to accelerate and weaken." Do storms usually weaken as they speed up? Sounds ironic to me, though I don't know that much about typhoons.

Done In general, they do tend to weaken when they speed up (not always though). Soulik's weakening was due to wind shear though, which I've added to that sentence. Cyclone biskit 05:51, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
