GA Review[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

Hi Thegreatdr - I will be reviewing this article for GA. Jason Rees (talk) 18:50, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Too Do[edit]

  1. The article relies to much on HKO/JTWC data - try to use some JMA data from the BT file
  2. It would be better to put the signals with their numbers and dont forget to Wikilink it to HKO signals
  3. Double Check your dates as by my maths using the JMA BT - I worked out that Wayne was 24 days not 22

Ill add more comments later Jason Rees (talk) 18:50, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to the link you provided, Wayne existed six hours shy of 22 days. I can add the HKO signals if you like. Since JMA doesn't produce individual TC articles, then yes, I do rely significantly on the HKO and JTWC reports. If you'd like, I can add specific intensity changes as noted by JMA file; that's not a problem. Thegreatdr (talk) 20:00, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah that would be good as HKO's data differs from JMAs for some odd reason - probbably because they write their reports about 4 weeks after the storms gone. Also about the HKO signals - it seems to me that you already have them in the article but have used the first part of their name (eg The standby signal is the Standby Signal No 1). Also thanks for pointing out my flaws in maths :P. Jason Rees (talk) 22:06, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The changes have been made. Let me know if I've missed something. Thegreatdr (talk) 22:38, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
