To Merge or not to Merge

[edit]

IMO the national U.S. Route 91 article does a pretty good job of describing the history of US-91 in NV. Do we need 2 articles? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davemeistermoab (talkcontribs)

If this is merged anywhere, I'd think it should be to Interstate 15 in Nevada. There's definitely more local history to cover. --NE2 23:34, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm ok with that too. Both articles are short stubs, and they would share the same historyDave (talk) 00:07, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alternately, I'd suggest this be merged with Nevada State Route 604. This would be a more appropriate article to merge into since what had been US 91 (and earlier, SR 6) directly became SR 604, whereas I-15 was built to the west of US 91/SR 604. This would also alleviate the concern I had with the proposed moving of the SR 604 article to "Las Vegas Boulevard" (which, should we go this direction, could then be a standalone article). --Ljthefro (talk) 02:10, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. That would essentially be consistent with U.S. Route 91 (California), too.Dave (talk) 19:34, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On second thought (some time later), this is more appropriate to merge into Interstate 15 in Nevada. I doubt there will be objections, so I'm moving ahead with this. --LJ (talk) 03:24, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
