Lloyd's and MARAD show the spelling as Deltargentino with MARAD cards showing Delargentino with the "t" as an insert. Contemporary journals also support the spelling with the "t". Delta Line ships seemed to use "Delxxxx" in ship names so this seems to be an somewhat unusual use of "Deltaxxxx". Palmeira (talk) 16:30, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Added note: Colton's ShipbuildingHistory and even the MARAD data cards include the apparently erroneous Delargentino spelling so a redirect under that spelling should remain. The weight of Lloyd's, being a ship registry used around the world and pretty strict about identifying vessels, MARAD and contemporary sources within the shipping industry is that particular spelling is a long term error when found in other sources.
