I never heard anything official, but it appears that the name of this race is now the USA Pro Challenge (dropped the word "Cycling"). While their internet address remains www.usaprocyclingchallenge.com, all references on that site, including the official logo, are to the "USA Pro Challenge". Similarly, the television commentators in this year's (2012) edition are specifically and solely using that shorter name. Not quite sure how to verify and document, so making no changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dcbrc2 (talkcontribs) 19:57, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In support of the above comment, an additional URL was added to this year's race which has been used in marketing/commercials: prochallenge.com

More than once during the 2012 race I heard Phil Liggett use the term "USA Pro Cycling Challenge", although usually he used the shorter term.
