CVW-5

Excuse me, We here at CVW-5 have called the GW "Doomsday" before hence the adding of the title of the nickname. Ryanyomomma (talk) 04:50, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

I suck at editing but if somebody wants to update the deployment 2010 section with its recent deployment to exercises in South Korea here is a reference for ya. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-07-20/clinton-gates-to-commemorate-korean-war-anniversary-with-visit-to-dmz.html second paragraph. 75.154.95.219 (talk) 01:47, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

SPS-49 Radar

I believe that with missile upgrades, that the GW also received AN/SPS-49A(V)1 as an upgrade to the original construction version or variant of AN/SPS-49(V)5 (2007) - now its radar is same as Reagan CVN-76 and Bush CVN-77 (and others). Perhaps it might be easier to be more correct by not specifying the specific model, such as AN/SPS-49, and let readers click links like that for detailed amplification. 144.183.224.2 (talk) 02:14, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Updates/Cleanup

I'm making updates and cleaning up on behalf of the CVN 73 Media Department/Public Affairs Office. Updated the 2013/2014 sections for clarity and citing sources & will be bringing the article in to line with Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style guidelines. - MC2 Jacob Allison, webmaster, CVN 73 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.56.181.194 (talk) 23:19, 19 January 2014 (UTC) Jacob.Allison (talk) 23:47, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
