Hey, the so-called copyrighted mat. was given credit with my 4 external links, also, that website is the only place that i found with all the information on the ship, i cannot remove non-critical areas because they are all important aspects of the ship's years in service. --Luis Santos24 (talk) 03:50, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another note, that website had nothing of what i wrote on the article, wrong website, i will be removing the tag if you do not mind. I did not spend over 5 hours writing an article to have it "Copyright" Removed. --Luis Santos24 (talk) 03:52, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Apollo 11 and/or 12?[edit]

USS Hornet (CV-12) recovered both Apollo 11 and Apollo 12. This article mentions USS Hassayampa's support only for the Apollo 11 recovery, with a photo captioned, "Hassayampa refuels Hornet during the Apollo 11 recovery mission." However, the photo's filename and description list it as having been taken "during the ship's participation in the recovery of the Apollo 12 space capsule and astronauts." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USS_Hassayampa_(AO-145)_refuels_Hornet_(CVS-12)_during_Apollo_12_mission_1969.jpg The source link is dead.

This page has the same photo described as being from the Apollo 12 recovery, but also offers a different US Navy photo described as showing the Hassayampa refueling the Hornet during the Apollo 11 recovery. It would seem that the article text needs to be updated to include the Apollo 12 recovery, and I would suggest replacing the current Apollo 12 photo with this photo from the Apollo 11 recovery, since that was the more historically significant mission of the two (which is why it's the one the article text mentions, I assume).

This archived site also corroborates that the Hassayampa supported both Apollo 11 and 12. -AndromedaRoach (talk) 04:26, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
