Could you action the relevant comments from Talk:USS Admiralty Islands/GA1 and Talk:USS Bougainville (CVE-100)/GA1. Once that is done, I'll take a look. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 08:59, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article is in good shape. I have a few comments:

  • forth→fourth in the lead, but in the body it says twenty-third?
  • suggest "fought in supportas part of the Guadalcanal campaign"
  • launchedin
  • say what Operation Magic Carpet was
  • her wl isn't in the body
  • link=on for the power conversion to link kW
  • the installmentation
  • Bofors 40-millimeters (1.6 in) anti-aircraft guns, by adj=on in the conversion
  • 20-mm and 40-mm
  • link Clarence Ekstrom and add to the infobox as a notable commander
  • 3rd Fleet? I thought US fleets were spelled ou, ie Third Fleet? Also 7th
  • "island of Peleliu, ofin the Palau Islands"
  • say where Manus Island is
  • "She, accompanied withby eighteen"
  • link capital ship
  • Admiral Kurita
  • say Kossol Roads is at Palau
  • the landing crafts
  • suggest "sinking Savo Island's sister Ommaney Bay"
  • suggest "Savo Island's sister Manila Bay
  • plane beingbegan trailing
  • say Ulithi is in the Caroline Islands
  • suggest "Savo Island's sister Kitkun Bay
  • suggest "along with her sisters Marcus Island and Saginaw Bay"
  • suggest "traded for her sister Makin Island's"
  • Ooccupation of Japan
  • link "Operation Magic Carpet" where you first use "Magic Carpet" in the body
  • use the link for Boston Harbor, then link Boston when you get to "Boston group"
  • suggest adding that Clarence Ekstrom was awarded the Navy Cross for his extraordinary heroism and distinguished service in command of the ship during the Battle of Leyte Gulf
  • Rielly is unused
  • ShipbuildingHistory.com and Hazegray.org are marginally acceptable at GA, but I wouldn't be relying on them at Milhist ACR or FAC

That's all I have, placing on hold for the above to be addressed. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 08:37, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Peacemaker67: I've addressed your points, apart from the fact that ship infoboxes appear to not have a parameter for listing commanders. Stikkyy t/c 22:08, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • My mistake, I've asked at the template talk page. This article is well-written, verifiable using reliable sources, covers the subject well, is neutral and stable, contains no plagiarism, and is illustrated by acceptably licensed images with appropriate captions.
