Unconfirmed reports[edit]

That "10000 tanker" wasn't confirmed by JANAC postwar, & based on Blair, I'd bet she was more like 6000 tons. Also, Blair (Silent Victory, p336) credits Teifuku Maru to Benson's mines, not torpedoes. Trekphiler 14:54 & 15:00, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ultra[edit]

The section on the 5th war patrol mentions Ultra. Ultra was intelligence from the ETO, not the Pacific. US decrypts of Japanese traffic were called Magic. Nfgusedautoparts (talk) 01:21, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
