Largest tennis center in the world

[edit]

The ranking of this tennis center was changed back in March from largest to second-largest. (edit). Apparently the Mobile (Alabama) tennis center has 50 courts. However, I doubt it seats 40,000+ people, so I don't really know how "largest" should be defined. -newkai t-c 01:08, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Indian Wells Tennis Garden also claims to be the second-largest. Both the Billie Jean and the Indian Wells articles now claim the same rank (2). -newkai t-c 01:11, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It appears some research is needed into how the various tennis centres came to consider themselves the largest/second largest. If one is second largest by number of seats, then the article can simply say "second largest by seating capacity", and if one is second largest by number of courts, then the article can say that that is the way in which it is second largest, too - rst20xx (talk) 16:29, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
