Niwa's Apology[edit]

I have edited the sentence concerning Niwa's apology. The original sentence said that the ambassador had been "forced" to "issue" an apology. This is misleading. He did not "issue" a public apology but did so in a letter from the Japanese embassy in Beijing to the Japanese foreign minister Koichiro Genba.
