Title

[edit]

Why is it called Ukrainian wine? The first sentence in the History section says "A wine culture existed in today's Ukraine already in the 4th century BC at the south coast of the Crimea.". In the 4th century BC that area belonged to Greece! Then it was Soviet, now it is Russian OR Ukrainian, depending on which TV channel washed your brains most. I believe this title is VERY political which violates WP:NOTADVOCATE. It should be changed to Crimean wine. Le Grand Bleu (talk) 02:17, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It was expanded to include all of Ukraine. Crimea should have its own page not only due to its recent geopolitical history, but its distinct physical geography (the climate in particular) and its unique history of ancient and medieval Greek, Italian, and Turkish viticultural influences.
