Error in Track Listing for "Playboy"

[edit]

The cover of "Playboy" that Dwight Yoakam recorded for this album is actually a song co-written by Roger Miller and another man by the name of Morris (I don't know the first name), and is not the Marvelettes song of the same name that is referenced. I unfortunately can't provide any sort of online documentation as to the accuracy, but I know this due to owning The Platinum Collection compilation album of Yoakam's (2006 Warner Bros. Music UK Ltd.) which contains this song from Under The Covers. I won't change this myself until I can provide more definitive proof (since I'm a new user, I'm still trying to familiarize myself with rules, guidelines, etc), but I thought I'd point this out in case someone else more seasoned than myself came along and was able to make this change before me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheBlackHatter (talkcontribs) 11:20, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Under the Covers (Dwight Yoakam album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:44, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
