I tried to slightly upgrade the 3rd grade writing level.

how many states?

[edit]
The Act was promulgated in 1940, when it was adopted by 49 states.

Interesting, given that the 49th State was admitted in 1959. —Tamfang (talk) 20:52, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Changes

[edit]

I noticed the article has an example using "Allice" and "Bob" recently someone changed all the "Allice" to "Clarence" is there a reason? I'm not going to change it back because I don't want to get into an edit war with anyone just asking. Also "Clarence" sounds masculine and I really don't thing we should get near a very hot issue like homosexual marriage if at all possible. Etineskid(talk) 03:31, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
