Who is the actress that played Dr. Redden in this episode? Chris 19:21, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it odd to refer to the hunting incident? Cheney might not be VP in Stargate, but I'm pretty sure that he still exists (At least there's been nothing saying that he doesn't exist) and, if so, he could still have had a humorous hunting accident. JBK405 22:07, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't refer to Mr Cheney at all, only to a "vice-presidential bird hunt"; an obvious dig at him. The reason it's odd is that it's not established that he is/was a vice-president in the SG-1 universe. --Grey Knight 20:12, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, while true Bush isn't president in the Stargate universe (thankfully!) I'm not sure, I guess they must exist but aren't major players.

What's up with Daniel?

[edit]

What's up with Daniel not being in 2 eps in a row, usually that means trouble for the actor, I'm not surprised because it seems the show just can't have any more or any less than 4 people per SG team, while Vala is not even a member of the SGC yet she seems to have taken Daniel's place on SG-1. If you want more info, check out the upcoming episode "The Shroud" to see what I mean regarding Daniel. -- Faris b 07:08, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's not trouble, Michael Shanks had requested some time off to be with his wife (Lexa Doig/Dr. Lam), as she just had their second child. - DiegoTehMexican 09:22, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I thought that was what was going on but I meant trouble in the sense of his position on the show, especially with Vala, a 5 person team doesn't work for the show it seems so they're giving him the boot it seems. A few years ago, I wouldn't have cared as I hated Daniel back when he used to be prissy but he changed. - Faris b 20:17, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
They are not giving him the boot. See the interview here on Gateworld. He told us that he would be gone for the fourth and fifth episodes. - DiegoTehMexican 02:55, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, the only way you'll understand what I'm getting at is to read the spoilers for "The Shroud", maybe he won't be fully gone this year but if there is a season 11, he most likely will not be in it unless the events of that episode play out differently.

Picture?

[edit]

Is it just me or does anyone else not recognise that image to be from the episode? As I recall, Mitchell was in casual dress when hunting for the creature in the forest.--Codenamecuckoo 17:35, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That was before the USAF took over, when it was just the civilians. During the night-time chase, he was in uniform along with the others. --Grey Knight 20:12, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
