Traps/alarms[edit]

The article referred to increasingly complex traps and alarm systems for catching the milk thief. This must be from the short story, because in the film there is only ONE trap, namely a length of fishing cord tied to the neck of a milk bottle at one end and the protagonist's finger at the other (poor idea, considering that if he rolled over in his sleep, the bottle would fall over!).
