Merge or rename?

Is there another article that this could be merged with? Lithium (talk) 21:51, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

This article is very poorly written. Needs a thorough rewrite.--Nomotiv867 (talk) 23:44, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Could this article be renamed as 'U.S. Savings Bonds'? MarcoPolo419 (talk) 14:50, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Is this commentary still relevant? Looks like article has been substantially reworked since these comments? harry543454 (talk) 17:29, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
No, it's old. Which is why you don't respond to 9 year old comment sections. oknazevad (talk) 18:18, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

Paper Bonds As Tax Refund

IRS Form 8888 allows paper I Bonds to be purchased with Federal Income Tax refunds. I have seen this being done for the past several years, and is the only known way to get new paper US Savings Bonds. Also the instructions attached to Form 8888 say that paper I Bonds can be bought with refunds, limit $5,000 per year. Astrojed (talk) 04:34, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
