state column in List of Secretaries of Homeland Security

[edit]

What purpose does this serve? This is a federal position, a cabinet position. This information is readily available in the biographies of each of these politicians but I fail to see how it is relevant to this cabinent position. Any issue with removing it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rtphokie (talkcontribs) 18:31, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It makes sense at United States Secretary of the Interior, because there is a tendency to appoint Westerners. I don't see a good reason here. -Rrius (talk) 18:38, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

list of Living former Secretaries of Homeland Security

[edit]

What purpose does this serve? There are 3 former DHS Secretaries, all of whom are alive. Simply repeating the list above it and removing the incumbent seems needless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.124.135.125 (talk) 00:56, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC taking place at Talk:Chad Wolf#RfC: Describing legal status in lead on how to represent the legality of Wolf's appointment. ― Tartan357 Talk 05:11, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Immigration

[edit]

Love N Peace, can USA give these immigrants some designated land, building materials, seeds that could be developed by the immigrants themselves? Of course take information of each and every immigrant that would be living in the housing complex that's built by them, foods produced by them, along with the help of Homeland Security for what ever support to stabilize housing, build job skills, agriculture and be policed so we can know where they are until something better gets added on to a "start" of a plan for our New Neighbours 71.10.201.233 (talk) 18:35, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
