This hopefully will explain all of the recent moves and redirects I did with this page. The bulk of these moves were to reflect the new subcommittee's title in the 110th Congress from the Subcommittee on Marketing, Inspection, and Product Promotion. I was confused by the format of the Seante Agriculture committee website and thought the word "jurisdiciton was included in the committee's name. This led to some erroneous moves on my part, which original broke the history of the original article. The subcommittee title also uses "&" on the official website, but that doesn't appear to conform with the other committee articles, which prefer to spell out "and." I moved the article to this current page to both eliminate the use of ampersands and to restore the article history.
Since this article really only is linked by a handful of other committee articles, I didn't feel that moving the article was all that problematic, as long as I tried to fix it to where the article title is as accurate as possible. I think I have accomplished that. I have also tried to fix double redirects for the article.
Hopefully this worked and isn't too confusing for everyone. I've only been editing for a few months and still have a few hiccups when I move articles, and with the Democratic changes in Congress it appears quite a few subcommittees are getting new names. I'm getting better and will try to be more aware of my moves in the future.Dcmacnut19:03, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
