Introduction

The article currently entitled "Allegations of state terrorism committed by the United States", originally entitled American terrorism, has been the site of edit warring for years. In fact, at least a dozen editors have been booted indefinitely because of disputes around this article.

As new editors get tired of this argument, fresh faces take up the bickering. Despite the years of arguments, the arguments have been surprisingly the same on both sides.

Unfortunately, these fresh faces are naive of the old arguments. Since I have edited this article longer than almost any editor (13 August 2006 as travb and trav). I wanted to compile all of the old arguments and attempts at compromise and negotiation in one place, in an attempt to show new editors to this article what has been tried before and failed, so a final compromise can be made.
