Sekula-Gibbs should be mentioned in the 109th Congress section, because she won that special election. NatusRoma | Talk 05:56, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

She is. It may be difficult to see, but she is. Took me 20 minutes of table wrangling to get that to work, too. --Golbez 08:15, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're right. DeLay should be there, too, though, since he was the 22nd District's representative for most of the 109th Congress. NatusRoma | Talk 01:13, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
P.S.: Thanks for the wrangling. NatusRoma | Talk 01:13, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He is. :) Technically, DeLay's box extends slightly into the 109th, Sekula-Gibbs takes up the rest of it. However in practice, this usually doesn't show on the table. :( --Golbez 01:26, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Phantom 21½th district

[edit]

Anyone know what this is? Ron Paul is listed between the 21st and 22nd, and in the 14th. Dmp348 17:17, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This error was introduced in version of 02:15, 24 May 2007 by 24.1.10.229, and I have fixed it. Anomalocaris 16:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment

[edit]

I've assessed this as "List" class, though if editors disagree with it being classified as such, please feel free to list at "Start" class. BTW, nice work! Jacksinterweb (talk) 19:09, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

District maps

[edit]

Hello, I am going to be attempting to add the current (since 2013) congressional district maps to this page. I will be reorganizing page to streamline the page somewhat with the inclusion of the individual district maps, but will retain or expand the vast, vast majority of the information currently presented. I will also attempt to add current CPVI scores, as they seem to be available now, as part of this overhaul. Feedback is welcome. --7partparadigm talk 9:20, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

85th Congress - Class 1 Senate Seat

[edit]

Someone more talented than I might be able to indicate that Sen. Yarborough served for most of the 85th. I have been unable to figure out how to set the table up so that Daniel, Blakely, and Yarborough share the distinction of serving in that Congress, even though something similar was done for James Pinckney Henderson and Matthias Ward in the 35th. As is, it looks like Yarborough was not elected until 18 months after his service began. Czrisher (talk) 15:41, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Where are the dead congressmen?

The Congressional maps are (mostly) contradictory.

[edit]

The maps are much different from What the article says they are. This is confusing.Danubeball (talk) 03:56, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Congressional maps are redrawn every 10 years. Texas just finished their new maps for 2023. This article shows the old maps because the current representatives were elected using those maps. Emk9 (talk) 17:10, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
