[edit]

A google search for "united states + keenan + luczko" returns a mere 94 results, most of which offer no more detail than the Wikipedia article. The majority seem to be direct copies of this page at about.com. When did the case take place? What was Keenan's first name? Is the whole thing a fabrication? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 15:53, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I found more details in a published book, so I updated the article. I suspect that the new reference is a more reliable source than the online article that was previously the source of the paragraph here, but I left in the reference to the online article too. (The entire text of this Wikipedia article used to be a verbatim quote from that online article, so I also tried to use less quoting.) --Elysdir (talk) 05:40, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I can attest to the truth of what is stated in this brief reference to the incident. I am a blood relative to Keenan and I was there. 98.97.42.61 (talk) 16:45, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NB There is another "United States v. Keenan" mentioned here at Altlaw.org, although it is a totally different case. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 15:57, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Added a {{Refimprove}} tag, although if the about.com article was only a copy of this wiki entry, then this would be {{Unreferenced}}. I could not find references to this case on Google Scholar: [1]. --2601:543:0:1346:D54D:4AE0:7BFC:EED (talk) 09:53, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
