All the information in the article is relevant to the team. Media in the form of charts outweighed the text of the article but did not distract from the substance of the page. In fact, the charts about the team and its records enhanced the article with facts that a reader would be interested in knowing about the topic.
The article is neutral, as it presents plain, unbiased language to provide the reader with historical facts about the team. The article’s factual nature does not allow room for biased lenses or weighted perspectives.
The information stems from the following sources: TeamUSA.org, the United States Olympic Committee, and the FIVB. Although the sources are directly linked to the team and the sport, the facts extracted from them do not appear to be pushing an agenda or ulterior motive of any sort. I would therefore consider the sources neutral. As a reader would likely be interested in the team’s performance record in past competitions no matter the current year, I would not consider any of the information outdated. Though the team’s finish in the 2016 Summer Olympics is documented in a table farther down in the article, the team’s Olympic journey could be added to the introductory text following the information about the year 2014. Furthermore, their most recent competitions and preparations could be added to refresh the article and keep it updated.
