The date given for the foundation of the university is highly dubious. We do not have precise foundation dates for any universities before the 13th century. Also, I doubt if you can speak of this as one of the "oldest" when it was dissolved again and refounded centuries later, so that apart from the name there is no continuity between the two institutions. "Earliest" maybe. Finally, no 13th century university had more than 5000 students. The figure of 20000 must refer to the modern university. --Doric Loon (talk) 20:15, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
