Would tend to agree - going to remove the sections, I felt that they wer a bit on the spamy side anyway.Codf1977 (talk) 14:40, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Beat me to it..... Codf1977 (talk) 14:42, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The items above have been removed and an updated section with references is now available. I would like to remove the copyright queries from the page. Ruben.brandt (talk) 08:44, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Removed as per above Ruben.brandt (talk) 17:18, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May be given the copyright issues and as per Wikipedia:College and university article guidelines this business school does not appear to meet guidelines for its own article perhaps a redirect to Stellenbosch University would be in order. Codf1977 (talk) 15:55, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A Business School is somewhat separate from the regular University and there are very many individual articles for them. Just look at Category:Business schools in the United States alone. I don't think those Guidelines apply here. Besides, this one is actually quite notable for a variety of reasons, and there would be plenty of independent sources for a decent article. USB (or one of their functionaries) unfortunately took what they thought was the "easy way" to er... raise their internet profile. I'd suggest that the admins leave the opening paragraph as a stub article rather than re-directing. Voceditenore (talk) 16:35, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I suggest that we remove notability as an issue for this article. The article clearly merits itself as deserving notability becauase it is an academic institution with good repute as far as I can see and is an important part of the university. DiscipleOfKnowledge 14:17, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

I would also recommend we remove notability due to the comments above, and as this university as been selected for the WikiProject South Afica and WikiProject Universities. Ruben.brandt (talk) 09:10, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Removed as per above Ruben.brandt (talk) 17:18, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requests for assessment[edit]

  • University of Stellenbosch Business School Ruben.brandt (talk) 09:36, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have accessed it as start rather than C class due to the following:
    • It should not, but does contain many inline external links, see Wikipedia:ELPOINTS#Important_points_to_remember for the guidelines
    • The External links section if far to large. This normally means that the article is missing important information and External links tries to make up for this.
    • If it has existed since 1964 there should at least be some important people that have attended the school. The article should link to some of them.
