Ibugos (Undersea) is an article about an undersea volcano off the island of Ibugos in the Philippines. Under this eminently descriptive name, it does not need any intermediary disambiguation page. Gubernatoria (talk) 15:32, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Volcanoes#Third Opinion, this article about an unnamed volcano has been moved to a more correct title. Fram (talk) 14:08, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose that Dequey (submarine volcano) be merged into Unnamed volcano (Ibugos). They are the same volcano, same coordinates, same eruption histroy. Unnamed volcano (Ibugos) is a more correct name; therefore, it is the destination. - Briarfallen (talk) 22:30, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the other one, as that name was pure WP:OR. No reliable sources for that name, no need for even a redirect. Fram (talk) 13:17, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unnamed?

[edit]

There must be a reason why it has remained unnamed. I suppose Bezymianny remains unnamed (that's the literal translation of its name) because, well, it's been called "Nameless" for quite a while, but if there's a process by which newly discovered volcanoes receive names, this might be a good article in which to refer to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Getheren (talkcontribs) 06:27, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
