Draft comment

Hello Fade258, I added some prose to the article and I was curious if it was closer to what you were looking for. TipsyElephant (talk) 17:52, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Stuartyeates, I just wanted to make a final appeal before giving up on the article. I’m going to cite a few essays so I understand if my comments are disregarded, but I think it’s worth mentioning a few essays to explain why I think the article meets WP:GNG. WP:INTERVIEW says that “An independent interviewer represents the ‘world at large’ giving attention to the subject, and as such, interviews as a whole contribute to the basic concept of notability. The material provided to the interview by the interviewer and the publication is secondary.” The Cleveland Jewish News contains 300 words of non-interview content with the remaining 200 words containing heavily quoted material. The Times of Israel, The Jewish Exponent, and The Guardian sources each contain 70 words of non-interview content. The NYT and America Magazine articles admittedly contain less than 50 words of non-interview content dedicated explicitly to the podcast itself. However, I would argue that the The Cleveland Jewish News article meets the minimum expectations of a non-trivial source (i.e. WP:100WORDS), and that the supporting three sources are all borderline but meet the requirement that “multiple sources are generally expected.” I admit that if the podcast meets WP:GNG it’s a borderline case and I expect it probably won’t pass the submission process. When I created the article I expected to find a few more sources as I worked on it and I’ve been unsuccessful so far.Thank you for reviewing the article. You can always wait a couple of months to see if any more coverage appears. I think you get notified if the draft is untouched in six months. Stuartyeates (talk) 18:39, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
